What is your jiu jitsu like?
I like to play a submission oriented game, always threatening the tap whether I'm on top or on bottom. I focus on submissions that I can pull of both with and without the gi. One of the most important principles I learned in jiu jitsu is that every bodytype has some techniques that are more efficient for them than others. As I have been coaching since late 2014 years, I have had the pleasure to deal with a huge variety of students. So no matter what style of jiu jitsu you have, I will be able to give you advice that will work for you. You can check out my Youtube channel to get a better idea of my game!
Where do you teach?
I teach most of my classes at Erasmus BJJ in Rotterdam, and The House FC in Santos Brazil. That's also the location of most of my private classes. If you want me to teach a class at another location, just get in touch through the form on this page: Private Classes
Why should I listen to you?
I have been training jiu jitsu since 2011, and since 2016 I have been training twice a day. I have medalled at some of the biggest tournaments in world.
More importantly: it never came easy for me. I had no athletic background or any special talent. I only started winning local tournaments when I had been a blue belt for over a year. I did not have coaches that competed at a high level, so a lot of what I knew I had to learn by myself, studying matches and dvds. Later I joined The House Fight Company, one of the best gyms in the world, where my coaches showed me how elite competitors train, live and think.
This combination provides me with a lot of tools to help you bring your game to the next level, whether you're training in a high level gym or in a garage with a couple of friends.
Can you teach a seminar at my gym?
I would love too! Just get in touch trough the form below and we will sort out the details.
